Great freezer so far. Does exactly what it says it does. Only complaint is that the door swap was a little tedious but fine overall. loving the glass shelves as things are getting stuck in them like the wire grates tend to have that problem.

I purchased this product on an awesome deal when Costco had it on special. It was delivered and placed in my garage in the location I selected for this appliance. I let it sit for 24 hours before plugging it in (a highly recommended practice to allow the fluids to settle back into their intended locations), It works flawlessly. Quiet. And rock solid, ice-cold at factor default "Recommended". I like this product so much, I am going to purchase the matching 20 Cu. FT refrigerator. I only wish I could get the same price for the refrigerator as I did for the freezer!!

We switched from a small deep freeze to a larger stand-up. I™€™m short and hated the deep freeze! If things weren™€™t near the top, they were basically lost forever. Now WOW. Not only is everything in reach, but it™€™s also lit up. Glass shelves make the light even better. It can be easily cleaned because everything is in reach. Purchased on line and it has so much more space than I expected in real life. My husband changed the door direction in no time. Then it needed to sit for a while before it could be turned on because it needs to be set on its back to change the door. Happy with the purchase.

The deep freezer is exactly what I wanted but we have only had it for 2 weeks and it seems the door sensor isn™€™t always working properly. Sometimes the light won™€™t kick on. Sometimes it beeps advising the door isn™€™t shut when it is. We spent money buying new light bulbs and it seems it™€™s only the door sensor causing the problem.

The freezer is keeping a stable temperature. It runs quietly. I was concerned about the weight capacity of the shelves under 354 Lbs of meat (1/2 cow distrubuted throughout). So I opted to use this freezer for less heavy items. The sales person advised this freezer had wire shelving, but that is inaccurate. These shelves bow. All in all the freezer is doing well. Plenty of room and strength to hold sides and snacks in addition to 100lbs of ground beef at the bottom.

This upright freezer was built to last. First of all it has glass shelves that can be re-arranged to suit my needs. The interior is not made of cheap plastic that becomes brittle when frozen. The wire basket at the bottom is extremely functional for bags of shrimp and vegetables.

In general we are happy with the freezer but would recommend the following improvements...To maximize storage capacity and for better weight distribution on the shelves, we would recommend the freezer include one additional storage shelf. We ordered an additional shelf which has allowed us to store a half beef in a way that minimizies the amount of weight on each shelf and prevents stacked packages from sliding off when the door is opened.The adjustable leveling feet on the front of the unit need to be longer. Our freezer still rocked even after the feet were adjusted down all the way, necessitating the use of wood shims under the feet.

We recently bought the Frigidaire - 20 Cu. Ft. Garage Ready Upright Freezer in white for our new house we are building ourselves because we are going from a commercial size fridge and commercial size freezer to just a fridge with a freezer on bottom and we know that we won™€™t have enough room for the meats and vegetables we buy in bulk when going to to grocery store in town once a month, because we live in the country with no stores for at least a 20 mile radius and it takes us 30 minutes to go to our local Walmart store. Just now starting the process of actually moving in to the new house so we haven™€™t actually had the opportunity to use the freezer on a daily basis yet but we will soon and then we will know for sure if the freezer will be exactly what we™€™re needing for our family. Time will tell.
